What the petition asks

We call on the government to reverse cuts made to all UK police services since 2010, give our police officers a proper pay rise, and save our officers' pensions! This has gone on for too long and we want the government to support, equip, and fund our police properly so they can protect us properly!

The latest statistics show a 14% year-on-year increase in criminal offences recorded by forces across England and Wales.

Knife crime has gone up by 21%.

Gun crime has risen by 20%.

Domestic burglary has risen by 32%.

Vehicle-related crimes have increased by 18%.

The murder and manslaughter rate in England and Wales has risen to the highest in a decade.

When will the PM and Home Secretary act? They have Special Branch protection so they'll never be victims of crimes. What about us?!
