What the petition asks

Fireworks don't just scare animals causing them to panic & sometimes cause death, they affect those suffering from PTSD, like Armed Forces Veterans & war Refugees & those suffering from such things as dementia. It can bring back the horrors of war, combat & cause nightmares leading to suicide.
The RSPCA say that it received its highest number of alerts about fireworks from worried members of the public last year, highlighting a 50 per cent rise since 2011, & detailing how it received 382 calls.
Combat Stress, a veterans’ mental health charity, has released figures that reveal a 9% rise in calls, it gets about 670 calls a month.
“The sights & sounds of fireworks during Guyfawkes often trigger memories of their time in combat, a distressing reminder experiences,” Say Combat Stress.
