What the petition asks

Asia Bibi is a Christian Pakistani women who was accused of Blasphemy in Pakistan. She was recently acquitted of the charge, but now faces life-threatening circumstances from radical islamist groups who are calling for her to be punished. All for drinking a cup of water.
Last week, Asia Bibi was finally acquitted in Pakistan after over eight years of court proceedings. She has been in prison since June 16, 2009, accused of the crime of breaking a Sharia-based blasphemy law.

However, although she has been acquitted, her problems are not over.

Her acquittal has provoked a wave of violence throughout Pakistan that has already left several dead. Asia Bibi's lawyer has had to flee the country in order not to be killed. The situation is more delicate than ever.
