What the petition asks

So many vulnerable people, along with pets, suffer no end from noisy fireworks. We all like to see pretty lights in the night sky, but do they really have to be noisy and frightening? No...they do not.

Veterans, the elderly, children with special needs and domestic pets are all extremely vulnerable but during the winter months they have to deal with a real menace which plagues our skies. Fireworks!!! Fireworks are an absolute delight to watch on a crisp winters eve and for the vast majority of the nation are not a problem in the least. Although there are groups of people, and pets, who really struggle with the associated noise. Fireworks can be pretty...they do not have to be PRETTY SCARY.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Change the laws for fireworks only to use silent fireworks.
