Funding help for clients attending private practice for mental health issues

What the petition asks
Clients attend private practice for Counselling/Psychotherapy as advised by GP/NICE guidance and most need help with funding due to financial constraints. Long waiting lists of more than 6 months for charities and other voluntary services. Immediate intervention needed to prevent complex issues
NICE guidance states that individuals struggling with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression etc benefit from Counselling/Psychotherapy. Early interventions and home treatment for mental health problems can reduce hospital admissions, shorten hospital stays and require fewer high-cost intensive interventions. This can potentially result in a saving of up to £38 million per year.
