What the petition asks
Asia Bibi, a former farm labourer in Pakistan, was arrested for blasphemy on the grounds that she is a Christian, not a Muslim. Despite Pakistan's highest court reversing her conviction, Asia has been the target of mob demands that she be executed. Her request for asylum in the UK has been declined.
