Make the existing law for microchips extended to cover dogs and cats.

What the petition asks

We recently rescued an injured cat who we caught for the RSPCA to come and collect, we were really hoping this cat had a microchip. Unfortunately this cat did not have a microchip so his owner may never find out what happened to him or where he is.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make it an offence to own a cat over the age of 6 months that isn't microchipped
