Every child in Leeds should have a 'local priority' non-religious school

What the petition asks
Leeds City Council is proposing changes to the primary school admissions policy (from September 2019) which would mean that children in some areas of the city (Primley Park, Moortown & Rothwell) are not within a catchment for any school (other than a religious foundation school).
It is inappropriate that any child should be discriminated against or disadvantaged for local schooling on the basis of their postcode or their religion.
Parliament should intervene to ensure that all children have a minimum of one non-religious local school (either local state funded or centrally funded foundation school) for which they are given a priority to apply on the basis of proximity/catchment.
