Renationalise the Railway

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

The British government invests around £5billion on rail infrastructure – maintaining the lines, tunnels and bridges – and the train operators control the tickets. The taxpayer pays their way, the passenger pays theirs, and yet all money is going to directors of operators, while the service declines.
