Make it law for manufacturers to CLEARLY label recycling info on packaging
Rejected

What the petition asks
Only 37%* of plastic packaging is recycled in the UK. Making the process of finding the recycling info harder does NOT help.
Clearer recycling info on packaging is needed.
Clearer recycling info on packaging is needed.
Recycling info on packaging should NOT be:
- Absent, regardless of whether it was included on the box that carried the individual products
- Hidden on a discreet location on the packaging. It should NOT be on the underside of packaging, only visible when you open the lid/film.
- Vague. Some products have the recycling logo, but with no recycling codes (1/PET, 2/HDPE, 3/PVC, 4/LDPE, 5/PP, 6/PS, 7/other). Some don't specify the recycling info of each material used.
