Petition · past parliament
I demand that the British Government reduce migration to the United Kingdom
Rejected

What the petition asks
Latest nett migration figures show an increase of 273,000. This is putting a huge strain on our countrie's NHS, Education System, Social Housing and Benefits System. For years the Government have said they will reduce migration but to no effect, this can not be maintained.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take specific action.
We understand that you would like the UK Government to reduce migration but we are not sure what action you would like it to take.
You could start a new petition setting out clearly what action you would like it to take.
