Petition · past parliament

MPs who refuse to implement the Referendum must now resign their seats.

Rejected 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Two years ago, the public voted to Leave the EU. All MPs who refuse to work efficiently and boldly to implement the Referendum must now resign their seats.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The resignation of an MP would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.
