Petition · past parliament

Request Philip Hammond’s resignation.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Before yesterday’s vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister, Mrs May, the chancellor accused colleagues attempting to topple the prime minister of wanting to crash the UK out of the EU without a deal – arguing the vote would “flush” them out.
The MPs Mr Hammond refers to are the MPs that truly represent to 17.4 million voters who won the referendum which the Conservative manifesto said it would honour. Mr Hammond’s comments are unacceptable. We the voters, are bitterly offended by his words.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

In any case, we can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked.
