Petition · past parliament
MPs and Lords, must not have any further time off until after Brexit.
Rejected

What the petition asks
With the country looking to our Parliament to sort out Brexit, no time should be taken off until post Brexit to ensure that the maximum use of time is put to good use. ONLY exceptions should be illness and compassionate reasons.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The leave arrangements of Members of Parliament are the responsibility of political parties and not the UK Government or House of Commons.
In any case, we can't accept your petition because it's not clear what you mean by "after Brexit".
You could start a new petition calling for all House of Commons recesses between now and the 29th March to be cancelled if that's something you would like to see happen.
