Make Hate Crime Part of the National Curriculum

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

People are commiting hate crimes on a day to day basis without even knowing it. This is because of lack of education from family or schools. The purpose of schools is to provide an equal chance for everyone in a safe space but how can we do that if we are penalising thoes who are different?

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand that you would like to use the education system to reduce hate crimes but we aren't sure what you would like made part of the National Curriculum.

You could start a new petition setting out clearly what you would like taught.
