Make all vehicles sold in London have a notice to the £12.50 a day ULEZ charge

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Mayor Khan has expanded the Ultra Low Emmision Zone from the current Congestion Charge area to the entire area within the North and South Circular Roads to commence in April 2021,
I do not believe the public at large are aware of the consequences and that if they acquire a vehicle for sale to use within the area it may fall outside the ULEZ emission requirements resulting in a £12.50 daily charge with a £160 fine for each day unpaid. I would ask you to support this petition that every vehicle sold to anyone within the new ULEZ are have a Notice of the daily charge and the possible penalty in order to protect buyers from the aforentioned lack of awareness of the new fee.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because it is about something the UK Government or Parliament is not responsible for. It would be the responsibility of the Mayor of London and London Assembly to raise awareness of the congestion charge.
