Make politics education in schools before age 16 mandatory

What the petition asks

The number of searches for ‘what is the EU’ the day after the Brexit vote is a perfect illustration of why mandatory politics education is necessary. I really believe that if all students leave school understanding what their vote is and why it’s important, participation in voting will increase.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make political education compulsory in secondary schools.
