We The People demand a written Constitution

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

We demand a written constitution to fulfil the will of the people
We demand a written constitution to fulfil the will of the people, to protect us from oppressive governments & unelected heads of state!
We demand this constitution is not written by any political party, any organs of state or any religious leaders or their organisations. We demand this constitution should be written by Law Professors from Universities, teachers who we would trust to have our best interests at heart!

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand you'd like a written constitution, but we're not sure what you'd like it to contain.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
