What the petition asks
Just recently a number of attacks or assaults have been made on our public sector workers i.e. Policemen and women. Firemen and ambulance workers, this is not acceptable as those people are doing a job for the public and should be supported not attacked for no reason at all.
Recently perpetrators of attacks on our public sector workers who do vital work in ensuring the safety of the public have been let off with fines and community work by Judges who do not live in the real world we call on the government to give sentences of up to 10 years for assault resulting in the injury of public sector workers, people who carry out these attacks should also be made to pay compensation to the victims.
