What the petition asks
A cross-party group of MPs has tabled an amendment to the finance bill designed to stop the UK leaving the EU without a deal. The amendment would require: a Brexit deal; an extension of article 50; or a commons vote specifically approving a no deal Brexit - thus preventing no-deal without approval.
