Make Sadiq Khan pay for the New Years Fireworks and stand down from office!

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The London fireworks display on New Years Eve 2018, one of the most famous in the world, was totally biased towards remaining in the EU.
It was organised by Mayor of London and keen Remainer Sadiq Khan and was obviously done to try and enhance his political career. This should not have been done using taxpayers money and with such a high profile event! It was a complete misuse of his power and taxpayers money.
He should be made to reimburse all the costs of the event and stand down from office immediately to avoid any more misuse!

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Mayor of London is elected by the people of London, not appointed by the UK Government or Parliament.
