Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The UK fuel duty rate on petrol and diesel of 57.95 pence per litre is an unfair percentage (over 50%) of the total cost of fuel .
Given that lower fuel costs will stimulate the UK economy the government should make consideration to lowering the rate of duty to ensure the UK is secure post brexit.
Petrol, diesel, biodiesel and bioethanol 57.95 pence per litre
Above Fuel Prices are also subject to VAT at 20%

Average pump price inclusive of VAT for Unleaded Petrol - 120.9 pence per litre
