Parents who do Not Exercise their Duties, should lose their Parental Rights!

What the petition asks
I want the law to change by taking parental responsibility from inactive parents, this would give ease to the 'Actual' Responsible Parents. It would prevent parents who are not involved in their children’s’ lives taking decisions whether it’s good for their welfare or not.
Absent Parents having Parental Responsibility, creates more pain & stress for the Active parent, making decisions difficult, such as:
-Whether or not a child has medical treatment.
-Child’s name change
-Consent for a child go holiday etc.
Like being a single hardworking parent isn't difficult enough, Imagine having to ask a careless or abusive ex for "permission", or the stress & cost of courts, having to explain why we shouldn't need to get permission from an "Absent" (by choice) parent.
