To ask the UK government to investigate the contract given to Seaborne freight.

What the petition asks
Seaborne Freight was awarded a contract of £13.8 million to operate a Ro Ro ferry service between Ostend and Ramsgate. Seaborne Freight currently do not own or operate any vessel required to carry out such an operation they also have no trading background or licenses pertaining to such a service.
We believe the government has not shown any "due diligence" or has followed any tender regulations in awarding this contract to Seaborne Freight, therefore we call on the government to suspend this contract as it seems to be illegal and underhand pending a full investigation into why it was awarded and other legitimate companies were not asked to tender. Thank you
