Lower the voting age to 16 in the case of a people’s vote

What the petition asks

Brexit will undoubtedly have the biggest impact on young people under 18 out of any age group. Therefore it is important for them to be able to contribute to decisions being made about their own futures.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

16 and 17 year olds to be allowed to vote in a referendum on the Brexit deal.
