What the petition asks

Currently I am undergoing some urgent tests to rule out Ovarian Cancer, I have never been afraid of becoming ill knowing you have a good chance to fight with all you have.
Unfortunately what I have discovered is that once you are at a stage with the symptoms being a concern it’s possibly too late

Early stage symptoms of ovarian cancer are symptoms we can get on a daily basis, and mostly fobbed off as “IBS” , early stage symptoms are bearable

Once you have the symptoms which now start to Cause concern it’s most likely spread and not much change of survival

My issue is that I had no idea about this and am angry that women are not given routine screenings like breast screening and smear tests. Ovarian cancer is called the silent killer
We need to be regularly screened for ovarian cancer
