Prevent Southend Hospital from culling pigeons as a form of 'pest control'

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The Southend University Hospital (SSO 0RY) have been killing hundreds of pigeons for years in a very cruel way by trapping them in cages on the roof and then snapping their necks.

They have have stated this is done for 'health & safety' without providing evidence of preventative measures taken.
In 2015, 790 pigeons were killed by breaking their necks.

Many pigeons are still trapped in metal cages on the roof of the hospital and dying right now, waiting for pest control contractors to come and break their neck.
