Create a public watchdog group for Parliament.

What the petition asks
In light of Brexit , I am wishing to see a public body created to ensure members of Parliament uphold the values of the Houses and avoid biased members creating conflicts of interest. This would apply unilaterally to all ministers.
The only thing I've seen is the utter disarray that the honourable Houses are in with members opposed to Brexit being in control of it, but more so I'd like to bring the public closer to Westminster so they don't feel so alienated from the decisions being made on their behalf. This public group would ensure that members are acting in accordance with the will of the people, and by using information technology get the people's opinions direct to those normally out of reach.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because we are not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take. In particular we aren't sure what the role of this watchdog would be. The UK Government or Parliament isn't responsible for the individual views of MPs.
The House of Commons has a Code of Conduct that is overseen by the Independent Parliamentary Commission for Standards:

You could start a new petition setting out how you would like its role changed if that is something you would like to see happen.
