Dissolve Parliament and the House of Lords and become an absolute Monarchy

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Democracy is dead, the brexit process has shown that.
The UK held a referendum on EU membership - 73% the highest turn out of a vote since 1977 and the majority of the people voted to leave the EU.
This process has been frustrated by the MP's and House of Lords who are clearly forwarding their own agendas.

Our vote was simply to Remain in the EU or Leave the EU - not remain if er cannot find a deal, not have vote after vote but simply to leave.

As democracy is now clearly dead in this country, I believe we should dissolve the houses of parliament and the house of lords, sack all the MP's and lords and hand absolute power back to the monarchy.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about Brexit, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
