Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like to see it that- policy around adoption certificates, so that every agency and council is under a mandatory duty to provide parents with copies of adoption certificates as soon as they are produced is compulsory for all agencies and all Councils.

Children should be traceable.
My family has personally been affected.

I believe everybody has a right to justice under the rules of natural justice and currently there is no where i know of, to go in regards to mistakes made resulting in mistakes made with said Certificates. There is no Jurisdiction to investigate.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because it appears to be about adoption cases in the Republic of Ireland. These would not be the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

You could start a new petition if you would like to change the rules around provision of adoption certificates in England.
