What the petition asks
Taxi drivers are supposed to be ''professional drivers'' where you pay to put your life in their hands.
As driving instructors are required to have an assessment every 2 years to maintain standards, HGV drivers are assessed for fitness and ability to drive, why not taxi drivers.

I am sure we all have experienced or witness some extremely ''iffy moves'' with taxi drivers. If they are required to have an assessment every 2 years the driving standard would increase.
