UK government to intervene in Zimbabwe

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

There is a civil war going on in Zimbabwe right now, with government forces, raping, maiming, killing and burning people alive in an effort to suppress a population that is at the end of its tether with despair.
The British government must accept full responsibility (for historical reasons) for the current evil that is sweeping the land as well as the total collapse of the economy after four decades or corrupt rule and take decisive action to bring the government of Zimbabwe to heel or be severely judged by history.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand that you are concerned about the situation in Zimbabwe but we are not sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government to press for international action to secure human rights in Zimbabwe if that is something you would like to happen.
