Get every disabled toilet have a keypad

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Disabled toilets have keys. While this is good, people who haven’t got disabilities are still using them because the doors aren’t locked, so I would like every disabled toilet have a keypad and code on them.
People who haven’t got disabilities aren’t ashamed to use them (as the link proves). If we want disability rights and be equal this has to change. https://forums.digitalspy.com/discussion/2140841/using-disabled-toilets-if-youre-not-disabled

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you want the UK Government or Parliament to take.

We understand that you are concerned about people using disabled toilets when they do not have a disability but the type of lock used on a disabled toilet is not something the UK Government or Parliament is responsible for.

You could start a new petition setting out clearly how you would like the law to change is that's something you would like to see happen.
