What the petition asks
MP's who backed a referendum on Brexit and upheld the outcome should be forced to resign if they delay the UK's exit from the European Union. The referendum, in 2016, was democratic and as such should be respected by every MP. Democracy should not be ignored it's the foundation of parliament
Any MP who does not believe in democracy should have no right to sit in the houses of parliament or represent their constituents.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for removing MPs from office because of their views or opinions.
