Change Board Members of the Security Industry Authority Change Courses Content
Rejected

What the petition asks
The SIA needs to include on its Board members that have sector security experience to understand the importance of the delivery of proper fit for purpose courses both in content and duration where any client receives a proper service. Presently, courses remain unfit for purpose as a result.
The SIA substitute's sector knowledge and experience with various 'Consultations With Industry Stakeholders'. Yet, after 13 years the process has proven to be unworkable; the industry still has ineffective training courses that remain entirely unfit for purpose.
Through SIA Board member change and implementing proper training core competencies, service levels would improve, satisfaction to the consumer would improve and the generally low wages to the security worker would be increased.

Why it was rejected
