What the petition asks
No way has been found for the UK to leave the EU without severe damage to the country's interests and economy. Leaving would make everyone poorer and our government should not inflict hardship on the people in whose interests it is supposed to act. If a good way to leave is found it can be reissued.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
