Support breastfeeding mothers in the workplace!

Support mothers who are breastfeeding and return to work by enforcing laws that mean a workplace has to provide a private area for expression and short breaks throughout the day (dependant on length of shift of course) to prevent health issues such as mastitis, clogged ducts, supply loss.

We can't accept your petition because we are unsure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.

Employees already have the right to ask for a private space for expression and short breaks. ACAS guidance says a toilet or bathroom is not appropriate:

We aren't sure what further action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take. You could start a new petition setting out what you would like to see happen.
