Do not lower UK food standards just to ease trade deals post Brexit

What the petition asks
We the public request that UK food standards are not lowered to ease any trade deals post Brexit. Countries such as the USA, where their meat and assorted food stuffs are banned in many countries across the world due to their industry standards, are not welcome here.
American livestock, chickens and fish are pumped full of synthetic hormones, such as recombinant bovine growth hormone, zeranol, trenbolone acetate and melengestrol. They contain copper and other toxins such as arsenic, are fed Ractopamine or a similar drug Zilmax. These are all linked to increased cancers in humans, including breast, prostate, lung and kidney cancer, increased stokes, and coronary heart disease. We must not allow American meat products into the UK market after Brexit.
