What the petition asks
I am a Class 1 HGV driver and I am sick to death of people texting and phoning whilst driving. I see dozens of people doing this from my high vantage point in a truck everyday. The current punishment is deterring no one. A ban will make the majority change their habits when livelihoods are at stake.
There are many well documented cases of the death and destruction caused by these selfish drivers.
