Petition · past parliament
Have the UK become part of the Republic Of Ireland to avoid a hard Brexit.

What the petition asks
There is an impasse over the British border in Ireland and the backstop arrangements to avoid a hard border. This would be avoided by having the UK become a part of The Republic Of Ireland. No border would be needed. And the UK would benefit economically and politically.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This would be a decision for the people of the UK and Ireland, not the UK Parliament and Government.
