Petition · past parliament
Unite Ireland as whole, as we already suffered under British rule
Rejected
18 signatures
What the petition asks
Ireland spent several hundred years under British rule and suffered murder , slavery, and colonialism. We do not want to go back to these times. As a whole it would also make financial sense to unite.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This is a decision for the people of Ireland and Northern Ireland following a referendum, not the UK Parliament and Government.
