Introduce new laws to help landlords with proffesional rogue tenants.

What the petition asks
As a law abiding landlord I am faced with a tennant who has caused thousand of pounds worth of damage to my property, missed rent payments, court costs and bailiff costs which will amount to nearly £10,000. A loss that will take over 5 years to recoup if we were lucky enough to have good tennants.
Deposits wont cover the cost. If this were something physical taken from a business this would be classed at theft and this would become a criminal matter. Why is this not the case in this industry? Tennants are playing the system they know how it works and they will do it again and again.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We understand that you would like new laws to protect landlords, but are not sure what laws you would like the Government or Parliament to introduce.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
