What the petition asks
Nobody ever voted to join the EU and their flag seems to be everywhere in our country and has been used covertly to control us into thinking it is part of us and it means something to us. On top of that EU projects give them credit for helping us, when that is not the case.
For every £1 we put into the EU, less than 50p was spent in the UK. However, we had to jump over EU hurdles in order to achieve that funding, when it wasn't sometimes in our best interests.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because it's about something the UK Government or Parliament isn't responsible for.
This would be the responsibility of the organisation who own the building or run the project.
You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government not to fly the EU flag on central government buildings if that's something you would like to see happen.
