Update the child benefit rate annually at least in line with inflation.

What the petition asks
The costs of living have been constantly going up. Purchasing power decreased by 3.21% in 2018. However, the current child benefit rate which is £20.70 per week is not only very low but it has not been updated for several years now.
In 2009/2010 the child benefit rate was £20 per week. Now, the rate is £20.70. Please make a comparison of what could be purchased for £20 10 years ago and what can be purchased now for roughly the same amount.
