Petition · past parliament

Insist that Chris Grayling resigns as Transport Secretary immediately.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Due to the continual failings and lack of consistent strategy, it is apparent that the transport secretary is not fit to hold his position in government and is damaging the British economy.
The poor handling of the May 2018 railway timetable change, the poor handling of industrial relations on the railway, poor handling of the Brexit ferries and ludicrous expenditure on consultancy fees from the public purse are just some of the reasons as to why Chris Grayling is not fit to hold a position in government.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
