What the petition asks
Despite leaving the United Kingdom to fight for self-styled Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq, Shamima Begum now wants to return to the country she opposes, to utilise their free and professional healthcare framework to give birth to her third child conceived whilst a member of ISIS.
Shamima Begum is from Bethnal Green in east London and left home in 2015. She and two friends - Amira Abase and Kadiza Sultana - flew from Gatwick Airport to Turkey. The trio were picked up by smugglers working for the IS group and taken across the border into the group's territory in Syria. In a recent interview with The Times, Ms Begum showed little remorse for her involvement with the terror group, saying she was not fazed by seeing "beheaded heads" and stated "I don't regret coming here,"
