Stop charging NHS Staff for hospital parking where they work.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Each year the NHS makes £ millions from charging it’s own staff for parking at their place of work. This petition calls for free staff parking permits at hospitals for all staff and for trusts to reserve enough spaces to meet need.
Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust make £1.1 million from staff parking charges April 17-18. They charge for staff parking permit for a car park too small to cope. Despite having a permit the staff car parks are often full forcing staff to park in visitor parking. With controlled on-street parking staff are now being fined despite having paid for permit or face parking in unsafe areas some distance from their place of work.
