What the petition asks

The EU offers asylum seekers refuge, and it is totally unacceptable for the UK to be the final destination for anyone attempting to cross the channel in any way to come here and expect this country to offer them asylum. We the British Public are fed up of it.

We may be letting in terrorists, rapists, child molesters, criminals and extremely dangerous people into this country without any way to check their backgrounds. It has to stop and it must stop NOW. Anyone who is found on a boat or back of a lorry should be photographed, fingerprinted and within 24 hours returned with full media coverage back to the EU. If they are picked up at sea, the vessel that picks them up must be ordered to take them straight back to the EU.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
