Make it obligatory for any mp resigning the whip to have to hold a by-election

What the petition asks

MPs formally part of the Labour Party have today resigned the party whip to sit as independents supposedly as they want a people’s vote. Yet they refuse to allow their constituents to vote in by-elections and stand on their new policies. This shouldn’t be the case.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
