Petition · past parliament
Enforce deselection of MP who leaves the party they were elected to represent
Rejected

What the petition asks
Whilst calling themselves ‘independents’ there is little doubt that this is a ‘body of MP’s with a common purpose / mandate. Due process for the formation of a political party has not been undertaken and these disaffections should be seen as resignations from public office.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
